The Union has appointed an additional Co-ordinator to help with the campaigns relating to the review of the Canadian Postal Service Charter, the attack on the Rand formula, service expansion and reduction at Canada Post and the upcoming federal election.
Sister Shelley Sillers, from the Guelph Local is the successful applicant and will be replacing Brother George Nickerson who is off work due to medical issues.
We wish to thank Brother Nickerson for his dedication and hard work and look forward to his return.
Sister Sillers will begin working as a Campaign Coordinator on January 26 and will be working out of the Ontario Regional office. She will be working primarily with the Atlantic, Central, Toronto and Ontario Regions.
Our new Co-ordinator join Sisters Kristen MacEachern and Barb McNeely, and Brothers Jean-Philippe Grenier, Steve Ferland, and Alain Robitaille who have been working tirelessly on the Save Canada Post Campaign.
Please continue to be involved in these campaigns at the local level. We appreciate your help in our collective struggle to preserve our rights and protect our future.
In Solidarity,
