Efforts Underway to Unblock Negotiations

As previously reported, the CUPW Negotiating Committee submitted global offers to the Employer on Friday September 14, 2018.

We have yet to receive any response from the CPC concerning these offers.

Following phone discussions between CUPW National President Mike Palecek and CPC Interim President and CEO Jessica McDonald, the parties have agreed to meet during the weekend to explore how we can move forward. Both Mike Palecek and Jessica McDonald, along with a few members of the CUPW National Executive Board and senior management representatives of Canada Post Corporation will attend this meeting.
